About the role
165 TONS RELY ON OUR EXPERTISE
Safran Landing Systems (Safran Systèmes d'Atterrissage) manufactures major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330, A350 and Boeing 787 models. The Mirabel facility uses advanced equipment for machining, polishing and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening and surface treatments.
- Prepare and perform assembly of parts
- Perform heat treatment or shot peening operations
- Carry out laboratory tests (hardness, tensile, saturation)
- Perform inspections using non-destructive testing methods (magnetoscopy)
- Detect and resolve technical problems
- Perform visual inspections to ensure compliance with specifications
- Complete appropriate quality assurance documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operations and achievement of safety, quality, cost and on-time delivery objectives
Benefits and specifics
Night shift, Monday to Friday from 00:10 to 06:40.
Note: depending on collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (evening, night or weekend).
- Competitive pay: up to $47.32/hour depending on relevant experience
- $1.00/hour premium

About you
- College-level studies in metallurgy (DEC or AEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in foundry, mechanical assembly for aerospace, aerospace structure assembly, welding-assembly, or equivalent experience as a metallurgy operator
- Experience in metallurgy
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail and rigor
- Analytical mindset
- Initiative and autonomy
- Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
