Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, the world leader in landing gear and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330 and A350, and Boeing 787 models. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening and surface treatments.
The work consists of performing chrome, zinc-nickel and nickel plating operations by electrodeposition using anodes, shapes, anode cages, tanks, chemical solutions and other techniques.
Tasks include: Install and adjust the anode cage or anodes on the part. Perform electro-plating operations using plating or rinsing chemical solution tanks, in accordance with procedures. Control parameters (amperage, duration, etc.). Place the part in the defragilization oven and program the heating cycle. Resolve technical problems when necessary. Inspect the part to ensure compliance with specifications and take necessary measures if abnormal situations are detected. Organize work and schedule tasks according to instructions received on parts to be processed in priority. Consult technical documents on the computer such as work drawings, operation sheets, procedures and, if necessary, complete appropriate Quality Assurance documentation. Contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and the achievement of objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, on-time deliveries.

Evening shift: Monday to Thursday from 2:20 p.m. to 12:20 a.m. Note: Depending on collective agreement rules, the position could change shift (day, night or weekend)
The remuneration for this position starts between $30.13 and $43.60 per hour, depending on your skills, experience and qualifications. With internal training and your progression in acquiring skills related to the position, the hourly remuneration will increase up to a maximum of $47.32. Premium of $1.30/hr. An annual profit-sharing program (max $3500/year). Requirements: Diploma of Professional Studies (D.E.P) in surface treatment, aeronautical mechanical assembly, aeronautical structure assembly, aeronautical circuit assembly-wiring, welding-assembly or composite materials. Minimum of two years of experience in aeronautics. Manual skills. Basic computer knowledge. Sense of observation. Analytical mind. Meticulousness / Rigor. Organizational skills / Priority management. Autonomy. Results-oriented.
