What your day-to-day will look like

Perform operational tasks ranging from simple to complex to manufacture, modify and repair a wide variety of tooling and gauges with varied shapes and geometries.
Work from drawings, photos, sketches and verbal instructions regarding methods and equipment to set up, operate and adjust conventional or CNC machine tools to machine and repair new and used fixtures and gauges.
Plan work to be performed by machinists on different types of machines.
Manufacture molds; mix and pour materials.
Perform dimensional and visual checks on parts using precision measuring instruments and keep appropriate records.
Maintain inventories of critical details for the repair of gauges and fixtures.
Participate in the development of new tools to meet customer needs.
Contribute to resolving issues encountered on production lines by improving tooling in collaboration with planners and designers.
Clean, preserve, package and move parts while ensuring they meet standards and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure fluid levels are adequate, filters are clean, and the general condition of the machine complies with the checklist.
Participate in training and share knowledge with teammates.
Organize and maintain your workstation and always respect our high standards for workplace health and safety.

This position is in a French-speaking work environment; however, a basic knowledge of English is required to understand some specialized work instructions, drawings and technical terms that may come from international organizations.

DEP in Machining Techniques
ASP in CNC machine tools or ASP in Tooling

Asset

Knowledge of CATIA software
