What your daily routine will look like:

• Perform operational tasks ranging from simple to complex to manufacture, modify, and repair a wide variety of tools and gauges with varying shapes and geometries.
• Work from drawings, photos, sketches, and verbal instructions concerning methods and equipment to use in order to set up, operate, and adjust conventional or CNC machine tools to machine and repair new and used jigs and gauges.
• Plan the work to be performed by machinists on different types of machines.
• Manufacture molds, mix, and cast products.
• Perform dimensional and visual checks on parts using precision measuring instruments. Keep appropriate records up to date.
• Maintain inventories of critical details for the repair of gauges and jigs.
• Participate in the development of new tools to meet customer needs.
• Participate in resolving issues encountered on production lines by improving tooling in collaboration with planners and designers.
• Wash, preserve, package, and move parts while ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure, among other things, that fluid levels are adequate, filters are clean, and the general condition of the machine complies with the checklist.
• Participate in training and share knowledge with teammates.
• Organize and maintain his workstation in order and respect our high health and safety at work standard at all times.
