As a toolmaker, you play a key role in the manufacturing, adjustment, and maintenance of tooling used for the production of high-precision parts intended for the aerospace industry. Main Responsibilities

• Manufacture tools, jigs, assemblies, and fixtures according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical plans and drawings.
• Machine tooling parts on conventional and CNC machines (lathe, milling machine, grinder).
• Adjust, assemble, and test tooling to ensure proper functioning.
• Diagnose problems on existing tooling.
• Repair, modify, or improve production tools and devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tooling.
• Check the dimensional and functional conformity of manufactured tools.
• Use precision measuring instruments (micrometer, vernier, comparator, etc.).
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production technicians.
• Quickly adjust tools in case of production problems.
• Propose improvements to optimize part manufacturing.
• Complete technical documents (sheets, reports, PCD, etc.).
• Comply with health and safety standards and quality standards (e.g., aerospace).

Skills and Qualifications

• D.E.P. in machining techniques or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in numerical control (CNC) or on conventional machines.
• Deburring skills, considered a significant asset.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety rules, particularly WHMIS.
• Good level of French, both oral and written, mandatory.
