Main Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical plans, engineering drawings, and 3D models
Manufacture jigs, fixtures, cutting tools, and positioning devices
Machine parts on conventional and CNC machines (lathe, milling machine, grinder)
Perform assembly, precision adjustment, and functional testing
Repair and modify existing tooling as needed for production
Ensure preventive maintenance of tools and equipment
Respect tight tolerances and aerospace standards
Apply SST rules and quality procedures (AS9100, ISO)
Participate in continuous process improvement
Requirements
Desired profile
DEP in machining techniques, tooling, or equivalent training
Experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace a major asset)
Proficiency in reading complex plans
Good knowledge of geometric tolerances (GD&T)
Ability to work with materials such as aluminum, steel, titanium
Rigour, precision, and autonomy
Team spirit and ability to solve technical problems
Technical skills
Conventional and CNC machining
Precision adjustment
Metrology (micrometer, comparator, CMM)
Knowledge of aerospace processes (structural assembly, composite – an asset)
