Job Description

Do you have experience creating learning solutions and training? Have you worked in corporate training, teaching, pedagogy or andragogy and wish to evolve and develop new skills? This position is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Learning Business Partner to join our team in the Human Resources department based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the Airbus Canada organizational development team in Mirabel and Mobile, as well as with the Airbus Group Academies in Europe.

You will be part of the learning solution development team responsible for optimizing, evolving, and maintaining the training offer for the A220 program. The team's organization is established to promote autonomous cross-functional collaboration, mutual support, and collective learning.

Your role as a Learning Business Partner will be to develop and maintain effective and innovative learning solutions consistent with the company's vision, manage projects, and facilitate expert networks.

Your challenges:

  • Develop, adapt, and/or facilitate learning activities for employee populations

  • Perform a strategic analysis of training needs to define the learning paths required based on job positions, trades, populations, and this in coherence with the priorities of the Airbus group

  • Support functions in creating OJT (On Job Training) for health and safety qualifications

  • Participate in the creation of annual integrated training plans and the competency management strategy for all employees at the Mirabel site;

  • Implement and execute the necessary actions to ensure the compliance of our training and the maintenance of our certifications according to the requirements defined by the functions

  • Participate in the search for external training providers and support and evaluate external trainers to ensure compliance with content dissemination

  • Work in close collaboration with the different departments, internal clients, union representatives, experts from other sites (Europe, USA, etc.) and workers

  • Develop and maintain effective and innovative learning solutions (architecture, content, educational watch, cost rationalization)

  • Design, propose and develop training paths consistent with the company's competency development strategy and key stakeholders

  • Measure the overall performance and effectiveness of learning solutions

  • Manage the qualification process for trainers (external and internal)

  • Participate in the training compliance validation processes

  • Manage projects and facilitate expert networks

  • Consult various levels of the organization's hierarchy to identify skill gaps and learning needs, consistent with the company's and HR strategy

Requirements

Your profile:

  • University level studies in pedagogy, corporate training, organizational development or a related field (adult education, project management, business management) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in learning creation/management OR 5 years of experience in learning management

  • Cumulative experience in training management and as a trainer (ideally in the unionized manufacturing sector)

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, listening and oral communication skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain trusting professional relationships

  • Ability to influence, without authority, by engaging people and developing results-oriented action plans

  • Ability and interest in teamwork

  • Expected language skills:

English: Intermediate

French: Advanced

  • Comfortable with the Google suite (asset);

  • Experience in change management (asset).
