Job description

Airbus Canada is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada) where you will be able to contribute to achieving the strategic and operational objectives of the production sector.

In your role, you will

  • Assist the business unit in achieving their goals by identifying human resources opportunities and by leading the analysis & diagnosis of client needs.
  • Provide coaching & support to management on leadership development, talent and performance management, change management, interpersonal and team relations & communication.
  • Support the delivery and deployment of HR programs and processes (Performance Management cycle, Annual Salary Review, Annual Leadership Review, Employee Engagement Survey & Development, etc.).
  • Contribute to continuous improvements & best practices to influence human resources strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training for managers (labor relations and leadership management training).
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of Human Resources policies.
  • Contribute, when required, to recruitment activities by assisting managers in the creation and integration of recruitment, hiring and retention strategies.
  • Support Human Resources operational activities.

As our ideal candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • About 5 years' experience working in a Human Resources department; experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
  • Ability to influence and guide management toward the best solutions.
  • Strong autonomy and ability to adapt to unexpected situations.
  • Collaborative team player in a multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite is an asset.
  • Experience designing, developing and delivering HR business solutions.
  • Project management capability and teamwork orientation.
  • Results-oriented and recognized for multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken); fluent in both French and English.
