Based on work instructions and drawings, ensures cleanliness and proper preparation of parts through rinsing, electrochemical, and sandblasting processes. Ensures proper masking depending on the sections to be painted. Uses tools to apply various coatings and heat treat them according to standards and work instructions. Ensures the compliance of work tools and products used by maintaining logs.
What your day-to-day will look like
- Ensures the maintenance of inventory of necessary materials to guarantee a constant material flow in connection with customer demand.
- Actively and constructively participates in the department's continuous improvement initiatives.
- May be called upon to operate multiple machines simultaneously.
What you need to succeed
- Professional Study Diploma (AEP) in industrial painting - aerospace option or DEP in bodywork
- Computer knowledge: MS Outlook and SAP is an asset
- Mastery of blueprint reading
- Rigorous in the application of work instructions
- Great autonomy and resourcefulness
- Interpersonal skills: teamwork and positive attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mind
- Experience in an industrial environment.
- This position is in a French-speaking work environment, however it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings, and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations.
