Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future: Aircraft assembler.
Job Summary
As an aircraft painter, your work will consist of preparing work surfaces and painting various surfaces (sections, fixed supports, fasteners) which will be defined by assembly manuals.
Responsibilities
• Comply with current health and safety regulations and report risky situations;
• Prepare surfaces to be painted: surface cleaning as well as sanding;
• Apply paint to the interior structure of an aircraft fuselage;
• Work with the equipment described by the technical data sheets at the workstation (technical documents describing the operations to be performed, the allocated time and the equipment to be used);
• Master the different stages of sanding, cleaning, painting, tracing, application of self-adhesive films, surface stripping;
• Adapt to new technologies (pneumatic or electrostatic spray guns, sanders, working method);
• Carry out touch-ups or modifications if necessary out of position.
PROFILE SOUGHT
• You hold a Diploma of Professional Studies in bodywork. Experience in a similar position could be considered an asset. A combination of experience and training may also be recognized;
• You are fully capable of reading technical drawings and ideally have knowledge of Bombardier procedures;
• Your manual dexterity is a real asset which, combined with your level of technical knowledge, allows you to carry out the requested operations and communicate easily with team leaders, methods agents and engineers;
• You are comfortable wearing respiratory protection equipment as well as a uniform while performing your work.
