Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future: Aircraft Assembler.
Role Summary
As an aircraft painter, your work will consist of preparing work surfaces as well as painting various surfaces (sections, fixed supports, fasteners) which will be defined by the assembly manuals.
Responsibilities
• Respect health and safety regulations in force and report risky situations;
• Prepare surfaces to be painted: surface cleaning as well as sanding;
• Apply paint to the interior structure of an aircraft fuselage;
• Work with the equipment described by the technical data sheets at the workstation (technical documents describing operations to be performed, allocated time and equipment to be used);
• Master the various stages of sanding, cleaning, painting, tracing, application of self-adhesive films, surface stripping;
• Adapt to new technologies (pneumatic or electrostatic guns, sanders, working method);
• Carry out touch-ups or modifications if necessary out of position.
PROFILE SOUGHT
• You hold a Vocational Studies Diploma in bodywork. Experience in a similar position could be considered an asset. A combination of experience and training can also be recognized;
• You are perfectly capable of reading technical drawings and ideally have knowledge of Bombardier procedures;
• Your manual dexterity is a real asset which, combined with your level of technical knowledge, allows you to carry out the requested operations and communicate easily with team leaders, methods agents and engineers;
• You are comfortable wearing respiratory protection equipment as well as a uniform while performing your work.
