Job Description

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Place purchase orders, follow up with suppliers and ensure that parts are received on time and according to the production schedule
  • Administer portfolio activities related to invoices and order pricing issues.
  • Maintain supplier relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, while optimizing quality, cycle time and costs for the organization
  • Monitor and validate the delivery of parts in production in close collaboration with internal partner functions (Logistics – Line Function)
  • Maintain key operational and financial performance indicators
  • Interact with various multidisciplinary teams (Logistics – Line, Programs, Finance, Production and Quality)
  • Apply and follow contractual conditions with the supplier
  • Negotiate and implement change management requests and secure associated purchase order requirements

Requirements

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have a bachelor's degree in administration or operations management and a minimum of five (5) years of experience
  • You have experience with SAP and BAAN (an asset)
  • You have a strong sense of ethics and are customer-oriented
  • You have good analytical, planning and problem-solving skills as well as good interpersonal skills
  • You have good knowledge of MS Office
  • You are bilingual (French and English spoken and written)
