Job Description

What will you contribute to the team?

• Place purchase orders, follow up with suppliers and ensure parts are received on time and according to the production schedule.
• Manage portfolio activities related to invoices and order price issues.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure customer satisfaction while optimizing quality, lead time and costs for the organization.
• Track and validate the delivery of parts into production in close collaboration with internal partner functions (Logistics – Line Function).
• Maintain key operational and financial performance indicators.
• Work with various multidisciplinary teams (Logistics – Line, Programs, Finance, Production and Quality).
• Apply and monitor contractual conditions with suppliers.
• Negotiate and implement change management requests and secure the requirements of associated purchase orders.

Requirements / Profile

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a bachelor's degree in business administration or operations management and a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
• Experience with SAP and BAAN is an asset.
• You have a strong ethical sense and are customer-focused.
• Good analytical, planning and problem-solving skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, are required.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• You are bilingual (French and English spoken and written).
