The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Material Purchasing Planner to join our Maintenance team, based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work in concert with the rest of the factory group to ensure the smooth running of procurement activities.
You will be part of the Infrastructure and Industrial Maintenance team responsible for carrying out procurement and purchasing follow-up activities for the entire Maintenance organization. The team organization is established to promote autonomous cross-functional collaboration, mutual support, and collective learning.
Your role as a Material Purchasing Planner will be to procure the raw materials necessary for maintenance, repair, and site management tasks, while optimizing inventory management.
Your challenges:
Prepare precise purchase requisitions according to department needs (items, quantities, and specifications).
Maintain a rigorous record of purchases and contracts to facilitate tracking and audits.
Support the negotiation of prices and contractual terms with suppliers.
Monitor the delivery of goods to ensure on-time receipt and resolve delays.
Collaborate with the warehouse to monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or surpluses.
Track tools sent for calibration according to established procedures.
Provide regular reports on purchasing activities, budget compliance, and supplier performance.
Requirements
Your profile:
High School Diploma (DES).
Demonstrate experience in similar procurement or planning functions.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of a maintenance management software (e.g., Maximo) and Google Suite (assets).
Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure in a demanding environment.
Great attention to detail and strong observation skills.
Ability to effectively interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
