Weekend Material Planner (6 to 12-month contract)

What are your contributions to the team?

• Develop and execute reliable material flows, from component receipt to arrival at its final point of use, in close collaboration with the Supply Logistics team.
• Define and implement an inventory management strategy that integrates well with the capital management strategy.
• Create a scheduling plan (shopload) for unpaced production sectors.
• Develop harmonized solutions between the Supply team and production demand to maximize the inventory management strategy.
• Define and document the strategy for production kits.
• Interact with multiple cross-functional teams (Logistics-Supply, Methods, Industrial Engineering, Quality).
• Participate in improvement projects (Achieve Excellence, 5S, Cost Reduction, Value-Added Production, etc.).
• Support the integration of new tools into Bombardier's manufacturing system.

Working hours: Friday / Saturday / Sunday: 6 AM - 12 PM (36 hours total)

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a bachelor's degree in logistics, industrial engineering, operations and logistics, operations management, or a college diploma with equivalent work experience.
• You have a strong interest in continuous improvement and value-added production.
• You have 2 to 5 years of experience in the logistics or production planning field.
• You have relevant experience in the aerospace or automotive field.
• You are proficient in both written and spoken French and English.
• You have a good knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• You have experience with the SAP ERP system (an asset).
