The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking Material Planners to join our Material Planning team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will leverage your skills at the heart of Final Assembly Line (FAL) operations.
You will be part of the Work and Material Planning team, which is responsible for establishing daily production plans, following up with various teams (production and suppliers), and ensuring that parts are delivered to the line at the right time. The team is structured to promote autonomous, cross-functional collaboration, mutual support, and collective learning.
Your role as a Material Planner will be to rally the multi-functional team around a common plan by prioritizing and coordinating various work orders and part deliveries.

Your Challenges
Ensure supply to the workstation (parts, major components, work packages) in strict compliance with the integrated plan;
Define part delivery priorities in close collaboration with the Work Planner;
Provide visibility by delivering Estimated Completion Dates (ECD) for all parts under your responsibility;
Collaborate with the Supply Officer regarding coverage charts;
Execute transactions specific to proper supply planning directly in the SAP system;
Manage the cannibalization process by acting as the gatekeeper and approver for requests;
Communicate priorities to the Supply Officer group based on the manufacturing plan and emergencies;
Manage alerts and escalate critical issues at the right time to supervisors, managers, and directors;
Analyze material overconsumption and actively validate noted discrepancies;
Drive continuous improvement by taking charge of the optimization of tasks and services related to your function;
Act as the focal point within the natural team for all missing parts within your scope;
Support ANDON alerts at the request of the Work Planner;
Actively participate in AOS (Airbus Operating System) routines when required;
Support expediting efforts for consumables and the Kanban system during issue escalations.
Your boarding pass:
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations and Logistics Management, or a College Diploma (DEC) with equivalent experience;
You have two to five years of relevant experience in logistics or production planning;
You have relevant experience in the automotive or aerospace industry (an asset);
You have a strong interest in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles;
You have a good understanding of both written and spoken French and English (an asset);
You are proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project);
You are proficient in using the Google Suite (Files, Docs, Slides);
You have experience working with SAP (an asset).
