The role we offer: The incumbent is responsible for production planning, support related to meeting delivery deadlines, and coordinating work organization in collaboration with production, in accordance with cell policies and procedures. He or she has excellent stress management skills and is able to work under pressure with tight deadlines. He or she demonstrates excellent analytical skills, good organizational sense, and strong planning and coordination skills. This person is also ready to contribute to the cell's strategic decisions. Finally, he or she is results-oriented and productivity-driven through effective priority management.

Your role will be to plan the production of certain cells in our plant.

More specifically:

• Understand interdependencies within the manufacturing environment as well as with other groups.
• Identify and optimize cell bottlenecks to ensure compliance with the overall production plan.
• Daily monitoring of scheduling plans and making necessary adjustments.
• Act as a resource person for customer service, engineering, project management, and manufacturing cells.
• Make recommendations regarding staffing adjustments or production leveling according to the horizontal plan (workload vs. capacity).
• Analyze the availability of materials and inputs to adjust the production launch plan accordingly and collaborate with the purchasing department to mitigate impacts on the production plan.
• Analyze new master plan requirements and make necessary modifications.
• Work closely with engineering teams and project planners to meet deadlines.
• Promote clear communication between different parties and ensure follow-ups.

• Relevant bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or administration.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience or training in the field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to define problems, gather relevant information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to understand different assembly sequences and identify bottlenecks.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and ensure timely task execution.
• Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with different groups, colleagues, and internal clients.
• Ability to support clients and present information clearly to various stakeholders.
• Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
• Bilingualism in French and English is required.

Additional skills considered an asset:

• Ability to generate reports from databases using SQL, VBA, Power Query (M language), or Power BI. This skill is not mandatory but is a significant asset.
• Knowledge of an integrated management system (ERP), preferably Oracle.
