The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
The polisher's job consists of deburring (rounding) the edges of the part, which is the main component of the landing gear, to prevent cracks from forming during heat treatment (high-temperature heating).
