Position objective

This role is responsible for commanding the aircraft and crew during all phases of international flights, delivering a safe, smooth and client-focused travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and the safety of all passengers on board from takeoff to landing.
• Support the flight schedule of the assigned aircraft on an ad hoc basis.
• Develop expert knowledge of aircraft, policies, standards and operating procedures.

Required training and qualifications

• Valid Canadian ATPL licence.
• Valid Class 1 medical certificate.
• Minimum 17,000 total flight hours.
• At least 100 hours on jet aircraft.
• Minimum 500 hours as captain (CDB / PIC).
• CL3500 type qualification.
• Experience on the Challenger 3500 is considered a major asset.
• Candidates must meet ICAO eligibility requirements for commercial operations conducted in whole or in part outside Canada.
• International flight experience preferred.
• Proven experience as a highly experienced captain.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Willingness and ability to travel without restriction.
