Our Airbus Atlantic site in Mirabel is looking for Method Planners.

Number of positions: 2

Role summary

Under the supervision of the Methods Manager, the Method Planner provides technical support to production and oversees the assembly line. The primary mission is to manage industrialization and assembly, anticipate risks and provide technical solutions to operators to ensure work compliance.

Main responsibilities

  • Request creation of OMP for repair parts and support production in carrying out repairs.
  • Create repair routings (with or without deviation).
  • Understand sequencing and industrial processes to support installations.
  • Communicate change requests to planners.
  • Modify work orders and make necessary corrections to technical data sheets.
  • Monitor work and manage files to be split for finishing.
  • Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement of processes.

Profile / Requirements

  • College diploma in mechanical, electrical, aeronautical manufacturing or a relevant diploma.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge of assembly processes, aerospace standards and tolerance principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Catia V5 and Microsoft Office.
  • Proactive, rigorous, responsive and a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership and the ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
  • Fluency in French, spoken and written.
