Cabin Maintenance and Cleaning Attendant - Proactive Recruitment

Plus shift premium:
Evening shifts (between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.) - $0.50 per hour
Night shifts (between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.) - $1.00 per hour

The Opportunity

Air Canada is currently looking for cabin service and cleaning attendants to join its ground service team. This role consists of ensuring that the aircraft is ready for departure time and is safe. To achieve this goal, cleaning attendants must be quick, meticulous, and efficient so that passengers can experience an enjoyable and comfortable flight.

What your daily routine looks like

As a cabin service and cleaning attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring our aircraft are ready for departure on time and safely. You will also be required to:

• Equip the aircraft cabin for flight with cabin service supplies.
• Clean and examine the interior of aircraft.
• Vacuum the floor, clean surfaces, and replace headrests.
• Fill seat pockets with magazines and safety information.

Required Skills and Experience

• Available to work shifts.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work within tight deadlines.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Demonstrate punctuality and reliability to support the team's overall success in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all applicable transport security clearances and other additional accreditations. Please consult the Transport Canada website for more details.
