At this time, Air Canada is looking for cabin service and cleaning attendants to join its ground service team. This role consists of ensuring that the aircraft is ready for departure time and that it is safe. To achieve this objective, cleaning attendants must be quick, meticulous and efficient so that passengers can have a pleasant and comfortable flight experience.

A quoi ressemble votre quotidien

As a cabin service and cleaning attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring our aircraft are ready for departure on time in a safe manner. You will also have to ;

  • Equip the aircraft cabin for flight with cabin service supplies.

  • Clean and examine the interior of aircraft
  • Vacuum the floor, clean surfaces and replace headrests.
  • Fill seat pockets with magazines and safety information.

Qualifications

Compétences et expérience requises

This is an important position with a lot of responsibility. That is why we have established a number of key criteria to ensure your success:

  • Available to work shifts
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work within tight deadlines
  • Valid driver's license
  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Demonstrate punctuality and reliability to support the overall success of the team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all applicable transportation and other additional security clearances. Please consult the Transport Canada website for more details.

  • Eligible to work in Canada. If you hold a work permit, it must be valid for at least 12 months.
  • Eligible candidates must be eligible to work in Canada, possessing a valid driver's license and be available to attend full-time training (attendance is mandatory).
  • Employees holding this safety-critical position must meet Air Canada's medical requirements in order to be eligible. Candidates will be subject to a medical evaluation, including drug and alcohol screening, and must not be under the influence of intoxicants.
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the chosen country at the time a job offer is made. It is entirely the responsibility of employees applying to obtain the work permits, visas or any other authorizations required for the position.
