Responsibilities

In a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment, successful candidates will be required to:

  • Distribute materials throughout all areas of the plant
  • Handle various items, boxes, parts and carts using appropriate lifting equipment
  • Receive, inspect, prepare and issue material
  • Use computerized transactions and software to perform work
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain records
  • Operate various material handling vehicles
  • Perform inventories as needed

The candidate will also be expected to work in several positions within the logistics team:

  • Handling parts and engines
  • Receiving / shipping
  • Packaging
  • Warehouse / stores

Requirements

  • DEP in aerospace, logistics or other related training
  • 1 to 2 years of industrial work experience
  • Ability to perform manual work using various tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team
  • Shows initiative
  • Knowledge of using a computer in a Windows environment
  • Ability to operate a forklift and other industrial vehicles
  • This position is in a French-speaking work environment and does not require knowledge of English.

  • Certification to authorize the shipment of dangerous goods
