Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future: Aircraft Assembler.
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the production supervisor, the primary mandate of the incumbent will be to seal certain sections of aircraft and specific parts, in compliance with established quality standards. Sealing attendants are involved in the preparation and application of sealants on various aeronautical components.
Responsibilities
Apply the sealant according to operational standards. Perform visual inspection of components and ensure the quality and compliance of the work performed.
Planning
- Estimate the scope of work and required duration;
- Select the materials required to accomplish the work;
- Prepare the workspace for the task to be performed;
- Prepare ground support equipment, such as stands, scissor lift tables, scaffolding, ladders and carts.
Surface Preparation
- Clean aircraft, parts and components for application and inspection purposes
Coatings Application
- Clean surfaces by rubbing with a tack cloth before applying the coating;
- Proceed with the application of coatings.
Quality Assurance and Equipment Maintenance
- Record the repair and application in the documentation;
- Evaluate the finished product and the task accomplished according to defined specifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Academic training: hold a high school diploma (DES) and successfully pass an evaluation demonstrating basic technical skills.
Experience: experience in a similar position could be considered an asset.

- Thoroughness and precision, good reflexes, ease of concentration and attention to detail;
- Ability to distinguish colors, finishes and textures;
- Ability to pick out relevant details in objects or graphic representations;
- Ability to notice finishing details;
- Able to work at heights (nacelle)
- Possess excellent manual dexterity;
- Ease of adaptation to numerous technological changes;
- Ease of teamwork (multidisciplinary team);
- Apply good professional safety practices as well as rules and regulations pertaining to their work and work environment;
- Experience in the aerospace industry
