SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspections, repairs, and other routine building maintenance activities.
• Daily execution of maintenance services and tasks;
• Minor electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and masonry maintenance tasks
• Lawn care, snow removal, and remediation as needed;
• Assistance in correcting defects noted by internal inspections and external contractors;
• Sign-in, sign-out, and escorting of external contractors in accordance with Skyservice security policies
• Assistance in issuing, returning, and maintaining security access key cards;
• Review, monitoring, and verification of fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, waste tanks, and other areas according to daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections;
• Routine management of relations and communications between departments, tenants, and landlords.
• Inspection of buildings and other structures to ensure system functionality and determine defects, safety, fire prevention, and health/safety issues, troubleshooting and necessary repairs, formulating observations and recommendations following established procedures and using a periodic checklist;
• Maintenance of an organized system for managing documents, parts, tools, and safety equipment;
• Other tasks assigned

TRAINING AND SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent mandatory. Post-secondary education considered an asset
• At least 2 to 4 years of experience in facility maintenance and record keeping, preferred;
• Valid driver's license
• Restricted Area Pass issued by local airport authorities, considered an asset;
• Intermediate understanding of electrical, plumbing, paving, HVAC systems, preferred;
• Experience with various hand and power tools, necessary;
• Experience as a light and medium equipment operator, preferred;
• Safety and customer service oriented;
• Ability to make objective, fair, and uniform assessments;
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and on-call as needed;
