The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Fuel System Integrator to join our Fuel System Engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work on the A220 programme.

You will be part of the Energy team responsible for the definition and installation of propulsion, air management, landing gear and fuel systems. The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as Fuel System Integrator will be to maintain and develop the definition of the A220 fuel system.

Your challenges:

  • Participate in the design and integration planning of fuel systems, in collaboration with engineering teams;

  • Manage equipment and software configurations for fuel systems (e.g., control systems, sensors, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA/supervisory systems);

  • Perform the integration of various fuel system components, including mechanical, electrical, and control aspects;

  • Develop and execute rigorous test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and safety of integrated systems;

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during integration and testing.

Your boarding pass:

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering field;

  • Have at least five (5) years of experience in engineering project management / leadership;

  • Strong organizational and planning skills;

  • Experience working with suppliers (an asset);

  • At least one experience in systems engineering within the aerospace sector; experience in hydraulic systems would be an asset;

  • At least one experience in embedded software development would be an asset;

  • Knowledge of Part 25 regulations and the aircraft certification process;

  • Excellent problem-solving skills;

  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills;

  • Interest in digital tools and experience in the AI field would be an asset.

This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide).

Travel Required: Occasional travel within Canada & Overseas (< 5% Domestic and International).

Possible on-call duties during week-ends and/or holiday seasons.

Due to the sector of activity (aerospace), frequent contacts with Airbus entities worldwide, and interactions with suppliers and clients also located across the globe, proficiency in English is required for this position.
