The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Liaison Engineering Professional to join our MAP (Mise Au Point) Engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with other Airbus engineering specialist disciplines, methods, quality and production.
You will be part of the Liaison MRB MAP team responsible for providing engineering solutions to support non-conformances of the final production line of the Airbus A220. The team is organized to promote autonomous cross-collaboration, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role will be to provide dispositions to non-conformances for the A220 across different production phases, ensuring engineering integrity and airworthiness are restored in a timely manner.

Your challenges
- Support production, completions and delivery operations in manufacturing and assembly areas (e.g. follow up on non-conformity reports (NCRs), key performance indicators (KPIs), etc.).
- Design, analyze and disposition repairs for structural non-conformances in a timely manner to restore design integrity in sub-assembly, final line and preflight areas of the A220 aircraft.
- Rapidly design repairs based on equivalent strength/stiffness of surrounding structure while in a production schedule-driven environment.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications and provide guidance to Methods and Production employees.
- Adhere to the A220 Materiel Review Board (MRB) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of developments in aircraft structures to recommend innovations that improve quality, economy and effectiveness of products.
- Participate in projects aiming to increase productivity, reduce waste and improve financial performance.
- Work closely with other Engineering disciplines (Systems, Stress, Materials & Processes, Propulsion) and Support Groups (Logistics, Methods & Quality) to achieve company objectives.
Your boarding pass
- Bachelor's degree or technical college diploma in engineering, aerospace or equivalent, with at least 5 years' experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, judgment, flexibility, initiative; ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Energetic person with excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Strong interest in aircraft structures and systems installation.
- High sense of commitment, ability to meet tight deadlines, comfortable working under pressure and with a sense of urgency.
- Practical working experience using Catia V5.
- Bilingual (French and English).
