As part of your position, you will be called upon to:
As a member of the Airbus Canada airworthiness department, you will represent the regulatory authority for the approval of new aircraft designs, product improvements and continuing safety issues.
Be part of the A220 airworthiness team to provide key leadership for the maintenance of safety, certification and airworthiness of the A220 program.
Organize and drive the logistics of internal / external certification activities,
Liaise with government certification authorities and provide regulatory guidance to other Airbus Canada disciplines.
Be the primary point of contact between the company and regulatory authorities (primarily Transport Canada) for the evaluation and resolution of issues impacting aircraft safety.
Lead internal efforts to maintain an acceptable level of aircraft safety, provide visibility to company management, and provide guidance on company procedures related to airworthiness processes, including internal safety management review processes.
As an ideal candidate,
You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, and 8 years or more of experience.
You have experience in aviation, experience in relations with government authorities and certification regulations.
You possess developed skills related to project engineering and have a good understanding of aircraft functionalities.
You possess high relational insight and excellent social / interpersonal skills.
You are organized / motivated and bilingual (French, English) with strong oral / written English skills.
You have a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) and basic Internet skills.
You possess solid digital knowledge and the ability to effectively use digital tools, manage and organize data, and navigate digital information to support business goals in a modern information-driven environment. Additionally, you leverage digital solutions to improve and optimize working methods, fostering efficiency and innovation.
