Apprenticeship Program - Inspector/Fitter

Role overview:

At Rolls-Royce Canada, you’ll develop specialist skills in one of the following roles:

Fitter: you’ll assemble engines using a range of tools, data, and process - ensuring individual components and assemblies meet exacting specifications.

Inspector: you’ll perform inspections in areas such as sheet metal, welding, dimensional components and engine assembly. Tasks include visual checks, repetition inspections, stamping, etching and basic dimensional measurements to ensure quality and compliance.
 

What you’ll be doing:

• Gain a strong foundation in practical skills through our apprenticeship program with approved training provider CEGEP Édouard-Montpetit / École Nationale d’Aéronautique

• Complete a nine-month internship at our Montreal facility to broaden and deepen your technical knowledge through hands-on practical training

• Work directly with Rolls-Royce products, equipment and machinery throughout your apprenticeship

• Receive guidance and support from experienced engineering and technical experts

• Participate in live projects, gaining real-world experience as you learn

• Earn while you learn through a combination of formal training and practical experience

• Travel between the two Rolls-Royce locations in Montreal as needed

Who we’re looking for:

• Minimum requirement: High school diploma (or equivalent) with Math TS5 (526) or SN5 (536), and Physics 4 (436), or equivalent courses

• Strong interest in the practical side of engineering or hands-on activities is essential

• Must be adaptable, eager to learn, proactive in personal development, and driven to succeed

Pre-selection test:
A series of pre-selection test/interview and medical will be administered to select candidates.
