Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran, a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major landing gear components for the Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.

In compliance with the standards established by the Programming team manager, perform the programming of robotic and CNC cells for new products or major changes to existing programs according to procedures.

1. Develop, modify, and maintain robot programs

  • Establish and test the program concept, perform risk analysis, and make recommendations on feasibility.
  • Produce a first program and preliminary analysis using software, taking into account:

o The work environment, fixtures, production parts, and robot(s) (cell) and limits.
o Paths, trajectories, and movements.
o With the help of automation specialists, displaying information on the operator interface such as recipe calls and process parameters (HMI).
o Define process parameters with Methods such as distances, intensities, movement speeds, etc.

- Realize prerequisites for production launch.

2. Develop, modify, and maintain NC programs

  • Identify client needs and provide feedback at every stage.
  • Establish and test the program concept, perform risk analysis, and make recommendations on feasibility.
  • Produce a first program that integrates all process monitoring tools.
  • Produce the final program according to the client's needs and constraints.

3. Documentation and Projects:

  • Create and maintain CNC and robotics documentation.
  • Support projects for the acquisition or modification of robotic equipment and machines.
  • Support the digitization of robotic systems.

4. Innovation, Evaluation, and Continuous Improvement Participation:

  • Suggest and develop new programming methods or new technologies:

o Be on the lookout for new technologies and methods on the market.
o Participate in best practice exchanges within the Group.
o Analyze and evaluate proposed technologies in collaboration with the tooling manager.
o Select those that improve productivity.

Requirements:

  • DEC or AEC in robotics, mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or aeronautical construction
  • 3 to 5 years of experience

Technical Skills:

  • Mastery of offline robot programming with DASSAULT's DELMIA-V5 ROBOTIC and 3D EXPERIENCE ROBOT software
  • Mastery of DASSAULT's CATIA-V5 software
  • Mastery of KUKA and MOTOMAN/YASKAWA 6-axis articulated industrial robots
  • Mastery of safety concepts for robotic systems
  • Knowledge of KUKA WorkVisual and OfficeLite software
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, aeronautical part machining, and machine tool capabilities
  • Mastery of CAD/CAM software Catia V5 (solid and surface construction, drafting, tolerancing, and NC programming)
  • Knowledge of cutting tools
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Mastery of PDM and Smarteam tools
  • Knowledge of metrology and dimensional control methods
  • Bilingualism
