Engineering Project - Project Control and Analytics

We are looking for a Data Analyst - Project Control and Analytics to participate in a major aeronautics program based in Mirabel, Quebec.

Integrated into a project management and product development team, you will contribute to the planning, monitoring, and control of projects related to aircraft configuration changes. Your role will notably be to develop and maintain analytical tools allowing teams to effectively monitor their performance, schedules, and data quality.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and performance tracking tools;
• Transform the needs of project management and engineering teams into clear and actionable key performance indicators (KPIs);
• Automate the collection, transformation, and consolidation of data from different sources;
• Ensure the quality, integrity, and consistency of data before distribution;
• Identify anomalies or discrepancies in databases and collaborate with the teams concerned to implement necessary corrections;
• Analyze team adherence to configuration change processes and perform required follow-ups;
• Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and risks that could impact schedules;
• Participate in the continuous improvement of working methods, processes, and analytical tools;
• Collaborate with various multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic manufacturing and aeronautical environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems management, industrial engineering, mathematics, data analytics, or a related field;
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, project control, analytics, or a similar field;
• Excellent command of data extraction, analysis, and visualization;
• Very good knowledge of several of the following tools: Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Python, Qlik, Tableau, Apps Script, or other similar tools and databases;
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset;
• Experience in a manufacturing or aeronautical environment is a major asset;
• Knowledge of PLM and ERP systems is also considered an asset;
• Ability to develop and maintain reliable dashboards in an environment with a large volume of data;
• High rigor, attention to detail, and analytical capability;
• Ability to clearly communicate technical information and results to various stakeholders;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders;
• Diplomacy and professionalism in monitoring discrepancies and process adherence;
• Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written.
