Rheinmetall Canada is currently looking for a technical writer whose main challenge will be to support the engineering department in writing various technical documentation (specifications, technical specifications, product sheets, test reports, etc.), products used for technical training, and technical publications.
Responsibilities:
- Write and revise project technical documentation.
- Evaluate and determine the requirements for each task and produce workload assessments.
- Coordinate changes to illustrations.
- Integrate changes into documentation as prescribed by data sources.
- Perform editing and publishing tasks as needed.

Requirements and assets
- Hold a bachelor's degree in professional writing or a diploma in technical writing from a reputable institution, or have equivalent work experience.
- Have at least 6 years of experience in technical writing.
- Have the ability to write in English and French.
- Knowledge of FrameMaker, Arbortext, Oxygen, Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat software.
- Knowledge of the S1000D standard.
- Experience with HICO iPS.Suite® software.
- Translation experience.
- Knowledge of documentation and standards in the military or aerospace field.
