The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Service Bulletin Writer - Mechanical Structure to join our Technical Publications team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).
Your challenges:
Review and approve design changes and SRIs to ensure in-service feasibility;
Write and edit Service Bulletins for complex inspections and modifications;
Have the ability to propose modifications to engineering to minimize in-service impacts;
Write Service Bulletins in 'Simplified Technical English' writing mode;
Validate Service Bulletins at operators or authorized service centers;
Review suppliers' Service Bulletins;
Make tool requests and approve tool concepts;
Create and approve the parts list for Kits and Delivery Status;
Validate and incorporate comments from airworthiness authorities;
Create 'Advance Order Material' for urgent Service Bulletins.
Your profile:
You have a college diploma in aircraft maintenance/construction and five (5) years of experience in aviation (such as technician, methods agent or technical writer);
You have good knowledge of aircraft systems and structure;
You master CATIA, S1000D, SAP, Microsoft suite programs and the Google suite;
You are a team player, responsible, a good communicator and negotiator;
You are able to manage stress and push other departments to meet deadlines;
You are client-oriented and able to interact in French as well as in English (written and spoken);
You have a superior level of written English.
