Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze technical documents such as modification summaries (Modsums), technical drawings, and service bulletins to determine their potential impact on various maintenance publications;
  • Determine the priority of modification summaries based on the aircraft delivery schedule;
  • Create/delegate work orders in technical data tools;
  • Prepare source data for the monthly prioritization of supplier modification summaries;
  • Use Tech Data tools to extract data and track/harmonize their status to support department activities;
  • Provide support to suppliers and internal clients, analyze requests, and resolve issues encountered by clients originating these requests;
  • Identify and implement process and product improvements in accordance with the strategic plan;
  • Identify, evaluate, and support the definition of action plans and schedules to minimize risks to the completion of publications according to program requirements.

Profile Sought

  • You hold a college diploma (DEC) in aerospace or an equivalent field, or a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the field of technical publications;
  • You possess a good understanding of change drivers and aircraft configuration management;
  • You demonstrate solid IT skills as well as the ability to read and interpret technical documentation, particularly technical drawings;
  • You master processes and technologies related to technical publications; You have excellent knowledge of ATA 2200 and S1000D specifications (an asset);
  • You have a good knowledge of SGML and XML writing languages (an asset); You master the Google suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) as well as SAP and show agility in learning and adopting new technological tools;
  • Experience in customer service and technical support (an asset);
  • You demonstrate good judgment, leadership, and a strong team spirit;
  • You are customer-oriented;
  • You possess excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English).
