Summary
Location: YUL
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Aircraft Charter Sales Representative will interact with new and existing clients to provide third-party charters for Execaire and Image Air fleet aircraft, as well as subcontracted charters for clients when fleet aircraft are unavailable. The Charter Sales Representative must demonstrate strong commercial acumen and be able to convert trip requests into revenue-generating flights, acting as a solution-oriented provider focused on results.
Responsibilities
- Comply with company procedures and policies
- Analyze client needs and match them to aircraft capabilities, consulting Operations when necessary. Work with the team to find the optimal solution for clients and Execaire.
- Prepare for and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, meetings and other promotional events at the local, regional or national level. Gather market intelligence to remain competitive.
- Maintain a record of prospects, client contacts, wins and losses in the database
- Prepare and provide quotations to clients
- Arrange charter flights, including schedules, passenger names, ground transportation and catering requests, client preferences, etc. Source subcontract charters when fleet aircraft are not available
- Monitor ongoing charter flights
- Resolve issues and provide ongoing support
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys
- Promote sales to existing customers to seek future opportunities and establish new client relationships to grow the customer base
- Keep quotation statistics up to date
- Review and approve post-flight billing for accounting
- Publish monthly/quarterly client reports and maintain active scorecards
- Update aircraft information for marketing initiatives
- Update information on subcontract operators (fleet, hourly rate, insurance, operating certificates, etc.)
- Work on special projects as required
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Director
Requirements
- College or university diploma in a relevant field
- Experience in the aviation industry
- 1–3 years' experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Autonomous—demonstrates initiative and drive
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- English and French are required for this position, as the incumbent will need to negotiate with clients both nationally and internationally
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to think and work creatively and independently
