SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide advice and recommendations on the implementation of sales strategies.
- Develop competitive strategies that demonstrate the added value of avionics products in clients' processes.
- Receive client requirements from the Sales team and act as a maintenance/avionics expert.
- Gather accurate and complete information necessary to prepare quotes in accordance with authorized internal or external maintenance programs and company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that service level agreement objectives are met.
- Review final versions of quotes with the Sales team – address information gaps where required.
- Collaborate in the maintenance planning process to convert the quote into a work program or work order for execution following contract approval.
- Participate in account reviews and planning to increase revenue flow from existing accounts.
- Track time spent on sales support activities.
- Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
- Post-secondary certificate or diploma in aviation or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the aviation field.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and forecasting, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience, and good knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs, maintenance manuals and service bulletins.
- E licence for aircraft maintenance technician preferred; considered an asset.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office products, including effective use of Excel to organize and present data.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic team environment.
- Detail-oriented, focused on process improvement.
- Strong teamwork skills and self-review to ensure accuracy of work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
