SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide advice and recommendations on the implementation of sales strategies;
- Develop competitive strategies that demonstrate the added value of avionics products in customer processes;
- Receive customer requirements from the sales team and act as a maintenance/avionics expert;
- Gather accurate and complete information necessary for the preparation of quotes according to authorized internal or external maintenance programs and the requirements of company policies and procedures and regulations;
- Ensure that service level agreement objectives are met;
- Review final quote versions with the Sales team – bridging information gaps, where applicable;
- Collaborate in the maintenance planning process to convert the quote into a work program or work order for execution, following contract approval;
- Participate in account reviews and planning to increase revenue flow from existing accounts;
- Track time spent on sales support activities;
- Other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
TRAINING AND SKILLS:
- Post-secondary certificate or diploma in aviation or a related field;
- At least 10 years of experience in the aviation field;
- Strong knowledge in maintenance planning and forecasting, notably through at least 4 years of practical experience, and good knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins;
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License E preferable, considered an asset;
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office products, notably the effective use of Excel to organize and present data;
- Strong time management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic team environment;
- Attention to detail, focused on methods improvement;
- Good teamwork and self-evaluation skills to ensure the accuracy of one's work;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
