Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, the after-sales support representative will have as their main challenge to ensure that material is available in the supply chain within the required time and that inventory is kept up to date. The representative will also be responsible for ensuring that repairs are made within the deadlines prescribed by clients. Furthermore, the representative will be responsible for the management of material resources belonging to Rheinmetall and/or the client.

The main responsibilities of this position:

  • Process and respond to customer requests and new orders within the required timeframes.
  • Control client and internal inventories; organize inventory movements to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure constant communication with key stakeholders (finance, sales, production, program management, etc.) regarding requirements and impacts.
  • Ensure rigorous follow-up of files, prevent delays, and resolve issues to guarantee an optimal customer experience.

The qualifications you should possess:

  • Three to five years of experience in material resource management or a related field.
  • College diploma or equivalent experience in material management.
  • Mastery of French and English (oral and written)*.
  • Ability to work under pressure effectively, professionally, and in an organized manner in a collaborative work environment with frequent changes in deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to communicate well and manage demanding requests or customers.
  • Knowledge of Excel software and the Microsoft Office 365 suite.

*Rheinmetall Canada's clients and partners are mostly from outside Quebec, as is its subsidiary Rheinmetall Provectus which is based in Ontario.

Assets

  • Possess knowledge in reading technical drawings.
  • Knowledge and work experience with the SAP® enterprise resource planning software or any other equivalent system (Asset).
