The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a competitiveness manager (f/m) to join our Procurement team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the Airbus Procurement team based in Toulouse, Hamburg & Filton.
You will be part of the Equipment & Systems Procurement team responsible for the A220 Competitiveness in close collaboration with the team based in Europe and in Canada.
The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as Competitiveness Manager will be responsible for monitoring the overall competitiveness of the A220 for equipment and systems, will work closely with the A220 Equipment and Systems Procurement Manager and all stakeholders in Canada and in Europe. You will also be responsible for managing a number of projects impacting the overall purchasing convenience.

Your challenges:
- Manage A220 competitiveness roadmap, achievements and interaction with the Program
- Drive Financial Performance (Cross programmes) in close cooperation with Equipment & Systems Commodities and along with Ho A220 Equipment & Systems and Procurement E&S competitiveness european manager
- Drive short & long term competitiveness follow-up
- Coordinate / animate Procurement Equipment & Systems (PE) network to prepare dossier for validation (Inflow Board, Business Review Committee), updating strategy and preparation of competitiveness forum
- Interface with A220 Program competitiveness and other internal stakeholders to ensure good coordination
- Monitor progress on Commercial negotiations, competitiveness projects (Request For Proposal, Design to Cost,...) with strong interface with A220 Program Competitiveness
- Interface with BiM network in Europe and PEY team
- Facilitate the implementation of new Process (eg: Export Control, Ethic & Compliance,...) & tools (eg: Quality Management Systems,...)
- Sustainability: interface with Airbus Canada & PE
- Ensure Claim tracker for A220 is up to date and align on regular basis with buyers, MFT and Business improvement Manager
- Contracts : Secure contracts up to date in term of amendment and properly store in eProc
- ARM: Risks & Opps follow-up for A220 E&S
- Organize Program & Procurement business review
In this role you will report to the Ho A220 Procurement Equipment and Systems.
Your boarding pass:
- Business experience is essential, although applicants with good Procurement and/ or technical experience
- Knowledge of the Procurement process are also welcomed
- Experience in working in a multi-functional environment
- Experience in stakeholder management and influencing internal customers
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Commercial / Contract / Finance knowledge is required
- Negotiation level in English, other languages would be an asset
