We are supporting our client, a major player in the Canadian aeronautical industry, in their search for an A220 Cabin Continuous Improvement Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and suppliers for operational activities related to the Supply Chain and Quality.
  • Evaluate suppliers during calls for tenders and contribute to the selection process.
  • Manage contractual aspects related to the supply chain and quality in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ensure supplier performance regarding quality, schedule compliance, and, when required, costs.
  • Coordinate quality approval activities to ensure supplier compliance with applicable certifications and requirements.
  • Support the introduction of new products, Transfer of Work (ToW), as well as industrial changes to ensure supplier maturity before serial production.
  • Evaluate supplier capacity, capability, and performance and contribute to their development.
  • Identify industrial risks related to suppliers and implement mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing supplier performance.
  • Produce performance reports and ensure monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Use existing tools and systems to ensure effective management of supplier management activities.
  • Perform any other related tasks according to project needs.

Profile Sought

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations management, supply chain management, quality, or a related field.
  • You possess relevant experience in continuous improvement, supplier performance management, Supply Chain, or quality.
  • You have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally in the aeronautics industry.
  • You possess experience in supplier management, process improvement, and risk management.
  • You are recognized for your leadership, analytical capacity, and ability to solve complex problems.
  • You master the principles of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • You are comfortable with Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of an ERP (SAP or equivalent) is an asset.
  • You are proficient in both oral and written French and English.
