Aircraft Manager

Full-time position - within the AAA Canada team in Mirabel

Weekend shift (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) - (36 hours worked/ 40 hours paid).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation, follow-up, and communication of the plan to close the technical points of each aircraft in accordance with short-term planning requirements;
• Prioritize and harmonize the access of different stakeholders to ensure adherence to the plan;
• Monitor and assist in resolving blocking points of each aircraft (RNC, BOI, issues, etc.) by interacting with different Operations and Operations Support teams;
• Escalate blocking points if necessary, to the right people at the right time;
• Identify blocking points in processes, and lead improvement projects to resolve them;
• Participate in E2EQG routines, in particular prepare and lead FOT meetings, and contribute to monthly E2EQG analyses and action follow-up;
• Coordinate supplier catch-up plans when they are transversal to the Assembly line;
• Coordinate VL/DL plans when they are transversal to the Assembly line;
• Provide first-level support to on-site suppliers.

Profile sought:

• You have i) a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Project Management, or ii) a DEC in aeronautics with equivalent professional experience;
• You have more than 7 years of experience in manufacturing processes, ideally on the A220;
• You have general knowledge of the dependencies between different positions;
• You have detailed knowledge of planning, logistics, quality, and production processes;
• You have strong leadership, are able to question processes, but also have a desire to help your colleagues and other functions grow;
• You are fluent in French (mandatory) and comfortable in English (asset).
