The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Customer Acceptance Manager to join our ABQL team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will be in charge of the Customer Progressive Acceptance process.

You will be part of the Customer Acceptance & Delivery team responsible of the Customer Presentations Program and of the QLBs/CLBs opening, On-Quality and On-Time treatment with correct rework or answer, for Customer acceptance, and closure, along the pre-FAL, FAL & Delivery phases.

She/He is an active core member of the CAD MFT (Nota: For a given MSN, she/he is the deputy of the ADE who is in charge).

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as Customer Acceptance Manager will have to act as a technically competent focal point for a given aircraft (MSN) for the customer along the Customer Acceptance & Delivery (CAD) process (From pre-assembly up to ToT).

Your challenges:

She/He is accountable to manage & coordinate the Customer Presentations Program from pre-FAL up to Technical Aircraft Completion (TAC) and participate in Customer Acceptance Flights during the delivery phase to conduct rigorous cabin inspections alongside the customer.

As Customer focal point, CAM is in charge of handling (Answer, Follow-up, Closure) all specific issues raised by the customer.

Those points are recorded in CLB/QLB, which CAM is accountable for.

As aircraft risk manager, she/he identifies and mitigates the industrial risk items (including CLBs/QLBs) and escalates the major ones to the Airbus ADE in charge of the related fleet.

She/He ensures a constructive relationship with Customers through continuous communication (proactive, comprehensive, and regular), consistent and fair handling of customer expectations, while protecting AIRBUS interests.

She/He guarantees Customer confidence by steering/providing reliable and continuous information flow, along the CAD process.

She/He participates in the Feedback loop (post delivery) after each A/C delivery, to ensure continuous improvements in line with Customer expectations.

Responsible for gathering & treating the FAL CSIP feedbacks from Customers all along the manufacturing process, and to secure lessons learnt process, supported by MFT (CAQM, ADE, Production, Quality, Procurement, Engineering).

Gathering from the ADE in charge of the Aircraft all needed information to perform his/her tasks adequately (Airlines/customer specificities, previous A/C Deliveries status, Industrial planning & milestones, ...).

Participation in Technical Risk & Opportunity management.

Quickly assess issues on a broad technical domain (structure, system, cabin, aircraft operation) and be able to adapt to changes (situation, planning, event, environment,...).

Get real time and reliable information across all Functions.

Initiate recovery actions from all functions in a very high time constraint environment.

Be recognized by all AIRBUS functions and external suppliers and obtain from them high reactivity and support.

Ensure balanced decision matching to protect Airbus interests whilst ensuring customer satisfaction.

Participate to reinforce Customer mindset within Airbus, through:

  • Feedback loop process, CSIP analysis, and any other means
  • Customer Eyes Visit

Your boarding pass:

You have a proven track record of at least 10 years of experience in the aerospace industry and ideally hold a university degree in engineering or aircraft maintenance.

As a true aviation enthusiast, you have a deep understanding of industry standards, quality requirements, and industrial challenges.

Hard (technical) skill requirements;

  • Strong knowledge in FAL management and Airbus Industrial processes.
  • Qualification in technical / engineering/aeronautical domain.
  • Wide and deep technical knowledge (structure, systems, avionics, cabin).
  • Fluent in Local language and English
  • Working at height using a scissor lift and/or a cherry picker.

This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide).

Travel Required: Occasional travel within [country] & Overseas

Regular business travels will be expected; consequently you must be willing to travel accordingly.

Travel Required: <5% Domestic and International.

Possible on-call duties during week-ends and/or holiday seasons.
