Reporting to the Deputy Product Project Manager, the Naval Combat Management System (CMS‑M) Integrated Training Product Lead is an operational and strategic role responsible for overseeing the analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of training products and services for the German CMS‑M program.
The Integrated Training Product Lead will direct members of the technical training team while working across interdisciplinary and product teams to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality training solutions.
To be successful, the Integrated Training Product Lead will have a strong understanding of military operations, Lockheed Martin Canada's CMS products, training requirements and systems design processes.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic and results‑driven both as a technical contributor and as a lead, aligning and expanding new scope across the program.
What you will bring to the role
- Expertise in instructional systems design and methodologies for tutorials
- Education: A bachelor's degree from a recognized university in a discipline related to education or equivalent co‑op/training, with at least nine years of related experience; or at least seven years of related experience with a relevant master's degree; or four years of related experience with a relevant doctorate
- Experience in analyzing, designing, developing and evaluating comprehensive training programs
- Experience with Lockheed Martin's Combat Management System 330 (CMS 330)
- Excellent technical communication skills to clearly define priorities and support regular internal and external interactions
- Ability to coordinate work across teams associated with training and tutorial design, training systems and instructor design to meet program milestones and advance operator and maintainer readiness through Lockheed Martin products and services
- Ability to effectively plan activities, apply Agile processes, delegate tasks and track progress and reporting to ensure work meets program milestones
- Ability to participate in and contribute to multiple working groups, brief key stakeholders, and attend program rhythm and governance meetings to resolve issues, adjudicate misalignments, provide guidance, mitigate risk, meet timelines and deliver quality products and services
- Experience in a director‑level role, cost accounting and good knowledge of earned value management processes
- Prior experience managing a complex, evolving schedule with many stakeholders
- Ability to summarize staffing needs and collaborate with functional managers to identify, advance and assign specialized resources required to accomplish technical work
- Ability to continuously understand and confirm the long‑term vision for delivering a comprehensive training solution for the CMS‑M program
Additional desired skills
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin's combat management system and associated training technologies, products and services
- Strong knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of naval operators and maintenance leads related to combat systems
- Working knowledge of DOORS, JIRA, VEMO, Windchill and Confluence, and the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong project management skills to support the full development, implementation and delivery lifecycle of training solutions
- Experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
- Familiarity with 1LMX digital transformation and related planning, collaboration and training tools
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies, standards and software across the industry to advance program product and service solutions
- Ability to work independently and proactively to meet team, program and customer needs
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with other integrated product teams as internal and external stakeholders
- Innovative mindset to bring new ideas and improve the program
- Adaptability to evolving needs and integration of new technologies

$113,500 - $149,000
