Responsibilities
- Plan and lead: Define realistic and ambitious execution plans by securing stakeholder alignment on deliverables, milestones, resources, and budgets.
- Unify by influence: Intensely gather and mobilize designers and engineers towards achieving objectives, without direct hierarchical authority.
- Deploy governance: Monitor and lead projects according to program priorities.
- Support the team: Work in close synergy with the existing Program Domain Leaders (PDL) to facilitate operational arbitrations and service continuity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Develop a strong partnership with the engineering teams and the Chief Engineer's team.
- Manage risks and performance: Proactively identify execution risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure rigorous monitoring (time, costs, quality).
- Ensure visibility: Present activity progress and defend engineering arbitrations to internal stakeholders.
Skills and qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Large-scale project management: Confirmed and successful experience in leading major multidisciplinary projects cross-functionally (leadership by influence).
- Industrial experience: Solid professional experience in engineering (experience within the aerospace industry or in structure-related activities is a major asset).
- Business and performance focus: Strong rigor in budget monitoring, keen sense of planning, and management of execution risks.
- Interpersonal skills: Customer-oriented posture, strong communication skills, and ease in collaborating and quickly integrating into an existing team.
- Analytical skills: Excellent ability to simplify complex issues, prioritize, and summarize key risks and actions.
- Language skills: Advanced/negotiation level in English and French, both oral and written.
- Digital culture: Proficiency in standard project management tools and ability to navigate effectively in a modern, information-driven environment.
