Description
Your role as an Industrialization Project Manager will be to take responsibility for Industrial Development. The mission is to contribute your experience to product design and to ensure the operational transformation required to reach production, quality, cost and schedule objectives. You will ensure design integration and coordinate with project managers (co-design) within global teams to guarantee synergy between them.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement a world-class industrial system for all phases of A220 product development (from concept studies to serial production), in collaboration with the Industrial Architect.
- Make recommendations on its characteristics and sizing (product/material/people flows, number of stations, station design, lead times, layout, buffer zones/cycles, etc.).
- Develop and deploy industrial simulation models.
- Define industrial requirements for the product, processes, technologies, industrial means and assets.
- Contribute to enriching the body of knowledge related to the development of the industrial system for the A220 program.
Profile / Requirements
- You hold an engineering degree or a technical degree in the field of aeronautics.
- You have more than 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including experience in an FAL (final assembly line) environment.
- You are a specialist in aeronautical infrastructure design.
- You are a specialist in industrial engineering elements (layout, flows, VSM, industrial system sizing, VA/NVA analysis, capacity analysis, Lean Line Design, etc.).
- You demonstrate a high level of leadership and show diplomacy and resilience.
- You have proven skills in coaching/training, leadership and assertiveness to influence and challenge the status quo.
- You can work with senior management as well as with work teams and keep them engaged.
- You are autonomous, organized and able to set priorities.
- You demonstrate project management skills.
- You are an excellent communicator, both orally and in writing, in French and English.
- You can operate in an environment frequently subject to change and under high pressure.
- You are proactive in defining your own objectives.
