Reporting to local management, you play a pivotal role at the Mirabel site. Your mission is twofold: on the one hand, you drive the internal and external communication strategy to showcase the company; on the other hand, you are the catalyst and conductor of the local cultural transformation. You support the site in its evolution (agility, engagement, inclusion, operational excellence) by translating Airbus Atlantic's global orientations into concrete and engaging initiatives for Quebec teams.

Responsibilities

1. Communications Manager (± 70%)

  • Internal Communication: Develop and execute the internal communication plan (newsletters, digital signage, corporate events, general assemblies) to maintain a high level of engagement and inform about company strategy.
  • External Communication & Employer Brand: Promote the image of Airbus Atlantic Mirabel in the Quebec aeronautical ecosystem, in collaboration with recruitment teams (social networks, local media relations, partnerships).
  • Crisis Management: Ensure the preparation and deployment of communications in case of critical situations at the local level.
  • Global Alignment: Ensure the relay and local adaptation of communication campaigns coming from the European headquarters of Airbus Atlantic.

2. Cultural Transformation Management (± 30%)

  • Diagnosis and Strategy: Assess the current culture of the site, identify obstacles to change, and define a cultural roadmap aligned with the values of Airbus Atlantic.
  • Change Management: Design and facilitate workshops, working groups, and awareness programs to anchor new behaviors (shared leadership, cross-functional collaboration, innovation).
  • Manager Support: Act as an advisor/coach to local leaders to help them embody the transformation with their teams.
  • Impact Measurement: Deploy performance indicators (KPIs) and engagement surveys to measure the evolution of corporate culture and employee adherence.
  • Ambassador Network: Create and animate a network of change agents within the various departments (production, engineering, support functions).

PROFIL SEARCHED

Training and Experience

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in communication, human resources, change management, organizational psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment (the aeronautics sector is a strong asset).
  • Proven Experience: Having successfully led major change management or cultural transformation projects.

Technical and Professional Skills

  • Bilingualism: Flawless mastery of French and English (oral and written), essential for navigating between the Quebec context and the international headquarters.
  • Project Management: Excellent ability to plan, structure, and track long-term cross-functional initiatives.
  • Content Creation: Ability to popularize complex subjects and produce impactful content (texts, presentations, visuals).

Interpersonal Qualities (Soft Skills)

  • Posture of Influence: Ability to inspire, mobilize teams without direct hierarchical links, and interact with senior management.
  • Empathy and Active Listening: Fine sensitivity to human and organizational dynamics.
  • Creativity and Dynamism: Ability to propose innovative animation and communication approaches ("out of the box").
