The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is looking for Head Of Development Requirements & Enablers (f/m) to join our New Development team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you contribute to the definition and execution of the A220 new development program plan.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as Head Of A220 Program Development Requirements & Enablers, projet will be to:

  • Manage the Requirements Plan for projet
  • Ensure the projet follows a Product Development Plan (PDP) referential, which meets the key requirements of the Airbus PDP
  • Working closely with the projet Procurement focal ensure the framework for supplier onboarding on the program is in place
  • Working closely with the A220 Legal team, ensure that the legal and contractual frameworks are in place to support the program needs
  • Ensure consistent Program status communication towards all stakeholders
  • Lead set-up of co-working plateaus in key development centers (e.g. Mirabel, Filton and Toulouse)

Your challenges

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Set-up, adapt and control the Requirements
  • Plan for projet in close coordination with the Aircraft, Industrial, PMTD and Customer Services teams
  • Ensure requirements are clearly defined at Program level and well cascaded at the Aircraft, Industrial, PMTD and Customer Services level.
  • Set up and control the status of requirements
  • Ensure the projet follows a Product Development Plan (PDP) referential, which meets the key requirements of the Airbus PDP and the TCCA certification needs
  • Working closely with the projet Procurement focal ensure the framework for supplier onboarding on the program is in place, and that supplier on-boarding is controlled and monitored: this includes the definition of the supplier on-boarding strategy by supplier, the definition of the contractual framework to be used by supplier, the governance for converging on NRC/RC, support and aftermarket targets, and the communication to the supplier on program status and objectives
  • Working closely with the A220 Legal team, ensure that the legal and contractual frameworks are in place to support the program needs: this includes defining the SLAs to be used between A220 projet and other Airbus entities and ensuring that the Export Control and Intellectual Property requirements are well controlled
  • Ensure a consistent Program status communication towards all stakeholders. This includes organizing regular communications to the internal projet community to appraise them of the program progress.
  • Prepare program status communication presentations for external stakeholders, notably for the commercial teams in support of customer engagements, government stakeholders and suppliers
  • Finally, this role might involve facilitating the set-up and the management of plateaus in Mirabel, Filton and Toulouse and securing facilities and IT needs aligned with resource ramp-up needs.

Your profile

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • You have more than 10 years of experience in project management or program management
  • You are experienced in Product Development context
  • You have experience and interest in aeronautics
  • You possess leadership qualities and demonstrate a high level of influence.
  • You have strong analytical, planning, and problem-management skills.
  • You are open-minded with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate a great ability to work in a team.
  • You have a good sense of organization, time management, and are autonomous
  • You have advanced proficiency with the Google Suite.
