Main Responsibilities
Do you have experience in aerospace product development and want to grow and develop new skills? This position is for you!
We are looking for an Aircraft Configuration Lead (CPD VM) to join our Program Management team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).
You will be part of the Project and Portfolio Management team for Cabin and FCO, and will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of good project management practices in the context of the FCO (Fulfill Customer Order) process.
- Lead central FCO team meetings to ensure alignment and progress;
- Monitor action progress and manage escalations to appropriate channels; Monitor and report quality control points, milestones, and fleet status; Forward escalations through appropriate channels to ensure prompt resolution; Ensure compliance with the FCO process across all functional areas;
- Identify and address process deviations to maintain operational excellence;
- Collect and align stakeholder information for consistent project execution;
- Set up multidisciplinary working groups, internal and external to the company, including engineering, methods, quality, purchasing, and suppliers;
- Identify, evaluate, and orchestrate risk mitigation plans throughout the fleet lifecycle;
- Monitor the evolution of configuration complexity and orchestrate appropriate actions and measures;
- Supervise the implementation of MSCNs on configurations to maintain compliance;
- Foster the integration and consolidation of change requests impacting configurations and the fleet;
- Consolidate and ensure the quality of milestones and quality control point documentation;
- Capture and implement lessons learned across functions to improve performance;
- Ensure plan quality through the implementation of performance indicators and rule monitoring.
Requirements:
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent;
- You have leadership qualities and demonstrate a high level of influence;
- You have a technical background in aircraft development and commercial operations; You have a sense of organization, time management, and are autonomous;
- Ideally, you have experience and interest in aerospace;
- You have advanced skills with the Google suite. You have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in project management and/or program management;
- You have good analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills;
- You have an open mind with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate a great ability to work in a team;
- You demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English;
- You have advanced skills with瑞 the Google suite.
