This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

Promote joint collaborations (industry/academia) by ensuring smooth and proactive liaison. Coordinate with agility the requirements of public funders to secure and sustain the company's partnerships.
Orchestrate funding applications and governance implementation for new partnerships with the Finance, Operations, Legal, and Corporate Affairs teams. Provide key expertise to the structuring and priority execution of a new funding agreement with INSAT on a sustainable alternative fuel development project with a new Canadian partner, and coordinate and monitor current funding agreements including the project to develop new material funded by INSAT.
Ensure the integrity and compliance of funding agreements through rigorous monitoring of commitments. Oversee the collection and analysis of technical data to certify compliance with government requirements and secure grants.
Manage liaison with government authorities and innovation project managers related to public funding agreements.
Successfully manage government audits by coordinating preparation and reporting. Ensure the excellence and integrity of the data submitted, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
Transform and optimise internal public fund management processes. Engage stakeholders to increase program operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with government obligations.

What do you need to be successful?

Engineering degree, or any other professional degree combined with a strong interest for technical aspects.
5+ years of experience in government funding programs in Quebec and/or Canada.
Experience in government audit (technical and/or financial audits) - an asset.
Moderate knowledge of engineering and operations sectors.
Moderate knowledge of engine programs.
Pragmatic and business oriented.
Focused, able to tackle and prioritize a number of tasks, risks and considerations.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment; it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
