Knowledge Management (KM) business discipline in our company is responsible for ensuring that the data and information are properly managed in compliance to the Regulations associated to our business and in accordance with foremost Knowledge Management industry best practices. Also responsible for PWC knowledge management and transfer strategy

General responsibilities of the position: Manage mandates associated to KM environment and applications. Plan and lead projects aimed at ensuring ongoing compliance to regulations and to KM best practices (global trends, industry benchmarking, emerging techs, etc.). Contributes to the elaboration of PWC KM strategy, long range plan, scaling and roll out plan.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Develop and maintain enterprise Knowledge Management governance, standards, and best practices across engineering organizations.
  • Manage the process of archiving and retrieval of engineering documentation, as well for safeguarding of critical certification related documentation.
  • Partner with Engineering, Digital Technology, and business stakeholders to improve the accessibility, quality, and reuse of engineering knowledge and information.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of Artificial Intelligence, automation, and digital technologies to improve the capture, organization, retrieval, and reuse of engineering knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other RTX knowledge management entities.
  • Support publishing for engineering documentation and technical releases.
  • Support the integration of Knowledge Management capabilities within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and other enterprise digital solutions.
  • Facilitate change management and user adoption activities associated with new Knowledge Management processes and technologies.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve Knowledge Management practices and recommend future capabilities.

What do you need to be successful?

  • College or technical degree with 10+ years of experience or University degree with 8+ years of experience.
  • Field of studies: Information Management, Business, Computer science, Engineering, Management.
  • Must have strong analytical skills and be process oriented.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Must have proven success communicating and solving problems in a fast-paced and changing business environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Documentum and Share Point applications.
  • Extensive experience with MS Office applications.
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Assets

  • Demonstrated skills and work experience in Records Management and Information Technology including Web-Enabled applications is an asset.
  • Specific Information Technology knowledge or work experience with: Product Data Management software solutions, Document Management software, Engineering Business systems, PLM applications including Enovia, XML, SGML, HTLM, and Web base applications.
  • Knowledge of Knowledge Management frameworks, information governance, and digital transformation principles.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects involving Engineering, Information Technology, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with AI-enabled information management, enterprise search, or intelligent document management solutions is considered an asset.
  • Experience supporting Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Engineering Digital Transformation initiatives is considered an asset.
